Dental Receptionist

Job Overview:
**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:
1. Patient Relations:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Manage patient reservations and upkeep of the working schedule.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate patient benefit information and billing processes.
2. Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with billing and financial transactions, including processing payments and submitting benefit claims
- Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve billing issues promptly.
- Perform accounts receivable reconciliations and manage patient billing statements.
- Coordinate with insurance providers to ensure timely reimbursement and resolve any discrepancies.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, checking in and out patients, and verifying dental benefit details.
3. Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care and scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving practice efficiency and patient satisfaction.
4. Practice Management:
- Support practice growth initiatives through marketing and patient outreach efforts.
- Uphold and promote the practice core values of excellence, humility, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Previous 3+ yr experience in dental administration.
- Experience of using Open Dental Software (1 year)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay

**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
**Experience**:
- Dental administrator: 3 years (required)
