**Title: Maintenance Technician**

**Charlottetown - Full Time**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on building equipment and systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry work
- Respond to maintenance requests and diagnose and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Perform general cleaning, painting, snow removal and landscaping tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and materials used
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards
- Move furniture and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks & inspections
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the facilities

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in building maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as required
- Valid driver’s license
