We are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable associate for our Essex location that will assist with sales and stock as well as work the lumber desk. Must be reliable and trustworthy and willing to work as a team.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:
Must have knowledge with building materials and related projects and renovations.

Must be comfortable with computers.

Organizational skills are required.

Should be meticulous and pay attention to detail.

Provide excellent customer service to our customers and contractors who need assistance. Ordering building material for their home improvement projects.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Ability to understand computer software programs, store procedures and policies.

2 years of prior retail or industry related experience an asset.

Willingness to learn and expand with company developments.

Ability to work cooperatively in team atmosphere.

Maintain a positive attitude, while executing excellent customer service and communication skills.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:
*Actively seek out and offer a friendly greeting while working to drive sales.

*Must be personable and demonstrate a great attitude with customers and fellow team members.

**Experience**:

- Building Materials Retail: 2 years (required)

Starting Wage: $17.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
