**Overview**

**Level 2 and 3 only - Must have these levels from the Government already.**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

**Skills**
- **Ability to read, write, communicate, comprehend and speak English; knowledge of French is a plus.**:

- Strong background in childcare, including experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within a busy classroom setting.
- Leadership abilities to guide children in their learning journey while fostering independence.
- Computer skills for classroom operation and maintaining digital records; familiarity with educational software is advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$27.07 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
