Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Make a difference on our Procurement team as a strategic sourcing specialist

What you’ll do:

- Conduct internal analytics and external research to identify market and business opportunities.
- Complete financial reporting on savings opportunities and pipeline
- Investigate the market to source, select and recommend purchasing options and suppliers.
- Participate in development of stakeholders’ plans and requirements.
- Facilitate RFPs if required, according to industry standards and company policies.
- Recommend solutions for best value proposition for the company, while considering all factors (including total cost of ownership).
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring all contracts meet internal requirements from the Legal Department and optimize costs for the company.
- Facilitate appropriate supplier agreements and take ownership for contract routing, including providing internal contract guidance and expertise as needed.
- Optimize costs and drive related programs within the purchasing process.

What we’re looking for:

- 3-5 years of senior buying or finance experience within a large organization
- Bachelor’s degree
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication skills among clients of varying seniority levels (including executives)
- Demonstrated negotiation skills, influence and business acumen

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00
