Billyard Insurance Group is seeking an eLearning Content Creator at Head Office who will be responsible for creating, reviewing, editing, and maintaining digital learning content for the company which will be published in the BIG LMS. They will work closely with the Director of Learning & Development as well as the Marketing / Communications team to maintain consistency across marketing and employee development campaigns, as well as published content across the BIG platform.

This position will report directly to the Director of Learning & Development.

**What does the eLearning Content Creator do?**

This position will support content creation for multiple online-learning modalities (ILCs, webinars, eLearning modules, training videos, etc.), but will primarily focus on online learning content creation and maintenance. Here are some of the main tasks that you can expect to come across your desk on a regular basis:

- Utilize course authoring software to build eLearning content and demonstrations (includes Adobe Premiere Pro, Absorb Create LI, and PowerPoint)
- Utilize technical and creative writing skills to engage course participants
- Integrate adult learning best practices into created content
- Work with the Director / Manager to set and confirm course specifications and resolve gaps
- Produce content within set deadlines and within set budget
- Align all created content with pre-determined overall learning outcomes and strategies as set by executive leadership
- Address changes and feedback to course deliverables in a timely manner
- Work collaboratively with graphic design and video production to create an impactful, effective learning experience across the company

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Demonstrable skills in graphic design and content creation required
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Prior experience working with LMS software an asset
- Experience in Sales / Customer Service industry a plus, but not required
- Experience in the insurance industry a plus, but not required
- Experience creating blended learning solutions, both ILC and self-paced eLearning an asset
- Experience in video and sound editing an asset
- Experience in audio/voice/narration an asset
- Experience in animation an asset (entry-level acceptable)

**Technology Specific Qualifications**
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- PowerPoint
- Adobe Captivate
- Absorb LMS (Absorb Academy can be used if no previous experience applies)

**Skills**
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident self-starter, requires mínimal supervision
- Demonstrably creative
- Strong attention to detail
- Technology savvy
