Gunnebo - a global leader in security solutions is looking to hire an **Electronics Security Technician at our ON location.** We offer competitive wages, health and dental benefits, pension, company van, cell phone, a great team environment and more. **Duties & Responsibilities**: - Installation and Service of Entrance Control and Cash Handling equipment - CCTV system installations and service - Electronic Security, service, and installation - Access control system service and installation - Be innovative, all client equipment must remain operational at all times. Consider all retrofit options while on-site to effect equipment repairs - Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs in consultation with clients recommend solutions to enhance physical security measures - Prepare and submit all paperwork in a timely and businesslike manner Ensure company vehicle is driven and maintained in a manner consistent with policies Responsible for security of company vehicle, tools, equipment and inventory - Run and pull wire; program and calibrate equipment; adhere to codes, regulations, and standards. - Other duties as required **Experience requirements**: - Proven diagnostic skills able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems - Experience in Electronic Security Systems installations & Service - Valid driver’s license is mandatory - Experience in delivering high-quality customer service to a broad range of customers - Mechanical aptitude and ability to effectively use test equipment, hand and power tools. - Availability to work variable hours, weekends and/or "on-call" shifts as necessary to meet customer requirements. - Provide excellent customer service both over the phone and face to face, as well as have an ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences - Networking knowledge beneficial **Knowledge / Education requirements**: - Grade 12 or equivalent **Personality requirements** - Self-motivated and calm under pressure - Excellent communication skills, verbal and written - Intermediate computer skills required - Works well independently, takes direction well - The ability to lift more than 25 Kilos - A criminal background check will be required - Punctual and reliable - Moving heavy equipment is involved in this role **Please note**: _Gunnebo provides accommodations for employees with disabilities.
