Counter Sales Representative

**Major Areas of Responsibilities**
- Create quotes and enter sales orders through ERP system (Syspro)
- Provides support to Branch Sales Rep
- Process customer returns
- Process electronic and cash payment transactions
- Prepare and reconcile day end deposits
- Maintain showroom and general housekeeping
- Responsible for opening/closing of showroom
- Assist with annual inventory and periodic cycle counting
- Assist with warehouse duties when needed
- Create purchase orders and supply chain transfers for sales orders
- Receive purchase orders and supply chain transfers into inventory
- Continue ongoing development of product knowledge of BMI products and allied products

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, ERP Software)
- Superior communication skills utilizing tact and diplomacy at all times
- Mathematically inclined
- Strong organizational skills
- Highly flexible - able to adjust quickly in a varied environment
- Able to work both independently and as a team player
- Excellent time management skills
- Energetic, motivated to continue to increase product knowledge including installation techniques
- Confident in making sound decisions
- Effective communicator with staff as well as all levels of management
- Thrives working in a very fast-paced environment

**Education/Certification/Experience**
- Possesses some industry knowledge in exterior building products
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word

**Hours of Work**
- 40 - 42.5 hours /week; December - April (Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm)
- 47.5 hours / week April - December (Monday-Friday 7am-5pm)
- Overtime as required.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
