**Position Scope**: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will plan and oversee the end-to-end delivery of assigned system-level projects and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and requirements. **Key responsibilities**: - Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects. - Defines project scope, deliverables and requirements in collaboration with clients. - Determines resources and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines. - Identifies project risks and develops and implements migration and contingency plans. - Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion. - Oversees the activities of the project team and monitors project task completion. - Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients. - Manage client communication and expectations, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction. - Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, health and safety requirements. - Manage OEMs, subcontractors and control contracts during the installation and commissioning phases of the project. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications and abilities**: - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent. - Minimum 5-10 years of project management work experience in the food processing industry. - Proven Project Management Skills, highly organized, goal-oriented, sense of urgency, detail oriented and able to manage changing priorities. - Strong technical foundation in process equipment and industrial automation systems. - Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strong capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines, understand business needs and objectives. - Advanced ability to develop and manage project budget. - Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes. - Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. - Highly developed PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Project Management Institute Accreditation or in progress is preferred. - Willing to travel to project sites as required from time to time (< 25%). - Knowledge in the potato processing industry is seen as an asset. - Proven track record of successfully managing 25+ million-dollar projects from initiation to closeout.
