Are you a detail-oriented and certified bookkeeper with a passion for helping legal firms manage their financials? AVS Legal is seeking a talented bookkeeper to support our legal firm clients with their bookkeeping needs.

**Position**: Bookkeeper Location: Central Alberta / Hybrid / Remote

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain bookkeeping for legal firm clients
- Process invoices, payments, and retainers for legal services
- Reconcile trust and general accounts in compliance with legal standards
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and client statements
- Prepare financial reports and statements for law firm management
- Assist legal firm clients with payroll, tax compliance, and expense tracking
- Support clients in maintaining trust account compliance with regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with our legal team to provide comprehensive financial support to clients

**Qualifications**:

- Certified in bookkeeping
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online
- Bonus: Experience with legal industry bookkeeping or knowledge of legal practice management software such as Clio, CosmoLex, Soluno, or LEAP
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
