**Working for the** **Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic)**
The Provost and Vice-President (Academic) leads the academic mission of the university by ensuring appropriate resource allocation and overseeing the support, infrastructure and administrative units that underpin that mission. The office also works with the team of vice-presidents to ensure that all portfolios and goals are aligned towards the achievement of the university's vision and strategic plan.

Do you bring strong coordination skills and a deep respect for Indigenous knowledge systems, data sovereignty, and community-led approaches? We invite you to join our team as the **Project Coordinator** for the **Indigenous Entrepreneurship Pathways Project**, a transformative, micro-credential program that supports Indigenous adult learners and entrepreneurs across Alberta and beyond.
This role involves coordinating project development and delivery, facilitating engagement with Indigenous communities, supporting culturally grounded curriculum design, and helping to mobilize knowledge. The Coordinator will serve as a key liaison between the project team, Indigenous communities, and external stakeholders, facilitating engagement sessions, supporting Indigenous-led program design, and ensuring the program reflects Indigenous worldviews and values.
The Project Coordinator will:
- ** Support Co-Development**: Work collaboratively with the Indigenous Advisory Circle and project team to co-develop culturally grounded learning outcomes, course modules, and delivery strategies that center Indigenous knowledge systems and entrepreneurship practices.
- ** Coordinate Communications and Engagement**:Develop and implement a communications plan that includes updates to Indigenous communities and partners, as well as outreach to Indigenous adult learners across Alberta and Canada.
- ** Facilitate Cultural Supports**: Support the facilitation of cultural practices and protocols within the project and during engagement sessions, ensuring a culturally safe and respectful environment for all participants.
- ** Support Student Engagement and Success**:
- Support the development and coordination of student supports to foster a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
- Help ensure access to technology and logístical supports for learners.
- Assist with recruitment efforts that prioritize Indigenous learners’ personal development and entrepreneurial goals.
- Contribute to orientation, planning, and facilitating community-based celebration events.
- ** Oversee Evaluation Planning**: Work with the project team to develop culturally appropriate evaluation strategies, including continuous feedback loops and reflective practices.
- ** Champion Indigenous Data Sovereignty**: Uphold OCAP® and CARE principles in the collection, use, and sharing of data related to the project, ensuring community control and self-determination.
- ** S**upport Knowledge Mobilization**: Assist in the development and sharing of program outcomes and learnings, including preparing reports, presentations, and knowledge-sharing materials for Indigenous communities, funders, and the broader research community.
