Delivery Driver

We are Sheldon Creek Dairy an on-farm dairy crafting milk products right here on our family farm. We are seeking a delivery driver for our city deliveries.

This position is responsible for delivering Sheldon Creek Dairy Products to various stores on a daily delivery route each week working 1-2 days per week. This route travels within a two hour radius from the farm in a company owned refrigerated cargo van. This position will also help cover off for other drivers vacations.

Our customers include many small to medium-independent retail accounts

Must enjoy driving, have a clean driving record, experienced driver is an asset and have a great personality. Training will be provided consisting of shadowing and learning the complex duties required by the job.

**Hours**: 10-20 hours per week with more hours if interested.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Transport and deliver dairy products to many businesses on the various routes
- Load/Unloading of products onto delivery truck
- Operating large refrigeration truck and delivery vans
- Utilize dolly in transporting large orders safely and in a timely manner
- Handling inquiries and or concerns from management/customers professionally
- Representing the company, our brand, and values at all times while on duty

**Required Skills**:

- Comfortable driving in the GTA
- High level interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills required to maintain and excel in the handling of multiple products and orders simultaneously
- Ability to lift heavy cases up to 50 lbs each
- Ability to transport orders up to 300lbs with the use of a dolly
- Must be able to use a GPS
- Good knowledge of Ontario (delivery area is defined by a 2 hour radius from the Farm)
- Must have cell phone
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must have a valid G driver’s license
- Clean drivers abstract mandatory
- MUST BE 25 or older to be on insurance

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
