The Diagnostic Sonographer II performs standardized and complex ultrasound procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology, and is responsible for coordinating all technical and daily work activities of the Diagnostic Sonographer team. The Diagnostic Sonographer produces images of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing procedures. The Diagnostic Sonographer II is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

**Required Qualifications**:
Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or recognized equivalent required. Registration with Sonography Canada (CRS) is required. BLS (Level C- Health Care Provider) required.
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum 1 year of experience - tele-ultrasound site. Experience with general and echo scanning. High level of independence and strong trouble shooting skills as this is a single sonographer site. Able to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience working in an acute care setting. Experience with Connect Care. Experience with Toshiba Aplio equipment.
