**Position Overview**

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves managing the flow of goods within the warehouse, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and supporting inventory and logistics processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure smooth workflow, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols for self and team members.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to maintain operational efficiency.
- Organize and store stock and merchandise in designated locations after proper unboxing.
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy by matching invoices to orders and inspecting goods for quality.
- Pack items according to company standards to ensure safe delivery in excellent condition.
- Retrieve items from inventory for processing and shipment with reliability and accuracy.
- Manage supply orders for various departments as needed.
- Handle inventory transfers between the warehouse and stores efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Organize orders and schedule items for pickup or delivery.
- Wrap and unwrap pallets for storage and shipment.
- Communicate stock levels with stores, managers, and buyers as required.
- Dispose of leftover packing materials, such as pallets and cardboard, responsibly.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles for goods transportation.

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As part of the InSchoolwear team, you'll contribute to delivering a seamless experience for our customers while supporting our mission of creating quality uniforms with care and precision.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work weekends or evenings as needed in our peak season
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently
- Valid drivers license
- Maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
- Experience working in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills are essential as working as a team in vital to maintaining an organized warehouse
- Knowledge in Microsoft excel, google sheets, and Gmail
- Typing and record keeping an asset in order to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventory
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to importance
- Customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work alone or part of a team
- High attention to detail, time management, reliable, hard working
- Able to manage and handle multiple tasks

**Schedule**:
Full Time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Hours may vary depending on business needs, some weekends during peak times and special projects.

**This position is available immediately and pay starts at $17.50 per hour, plus statutory benefits.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
