Westminster Presbyterian Church is a Christian church whose vision is to live by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope.
We are currently recruiting for a Part-time Office Administrator to support the staff and volunteer leaders in realizing this vision. The Office Administrator will work 20 hours per week, with at least 4 mornings on site. The range for the hourly rate is $20-25 based on qualifications.
The Office Administrator carries responsibilities for the administrative life and work of the congregation by ensuring the efficient and confidential operation of the church office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- maintaining clear and effective communication channels with all stakeholders of the church community
- facilitating the effective organization and functioning of the life of the congregation
- communicating policies and practices, as set up by the Session, and the Finance and Infrastructure Team, with respect to daily activities and to users of the church facility
- using best efforts to maintain confidentiality with sensitive matters
- scheduling required inspections so that the church facility complies fully with all levels of government operation requirements, and service agreements
- managing purchases and expenses in a prudent manner in keeping with the budget
The successful applicant will represent Westminster in a diplomatic, pleasant, helpful, and diligent manner in all forms of communication. This person must be a self-starter, have good verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate critical thinking and excellent interpersonal skills. This includes the ability to work collaboratively with other staff and designated volunteer leaders.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
