We are looking for a part-time produce team member to join our team at the Vancouver Westside location on West Broadway. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, sort and stock produce items
- Ensure produce cases are organized and visually appealing
- Rotate items to ensure freshness and quality
- Prepare wet vegetables
- Cut and or prepare produce items
- Greet customers and provide a high level of customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the work area
- Assist cashier/grocery department with grocery carry-out, price check, and so on
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift, carry, unload cases unaided (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work and stand on your feet for up to 7.5 hours
- Flexible schedule: must be available to work evening shifts and/or weekend
- Ability to communicate in English

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Previous produce experience required (wage to be discussed during interview, depending on experience)
- Great interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and work ethic
