Autobody Prepper/apprentice

We are a busy shop with lots of growth opportunity. We are looking for someone interested about collision repair, hungry for knowledge, and ready to grow their skills. We have a great team of employees and are looking at adding to the mix to keep up with demand. The shop operates on a 4 day work week. Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. While experience is an asset, we are ready and willing to invest time and energy in training someone new to the industry.

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepping panels and vehicles for refinishing
- Repair and replace damaged body panels, and other components of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate with management regarding repair status and any additional issues found during inspections.
- **Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as an Auto Body apprentice or prepper is preferred, but not required.
- Strong automotive knowledge
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- A commitment to quality workmanship and high attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $16.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
