Experienced Auto Body Painter

We are currently looking to add an Experienced Auto Body Painter to our growing team at Chapman Auto Body. With three locations serving the HRM, our team has expanded, and we are looking for motivated, detailed, and energetic individuals to join our team. Qualifications:
Technically knowledgeable, experienced different painting techniques
Analytical and problem solving skills
Effective listening and communication skills
Ability to follow all safety procedures
Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities
Good visual acuity to assess work performance
3-5 years auto body paint experience
Experienced with PPG products an asset
Duties include but aren’t limited to:
Work on the surface of motor vehicles, primarily restoring vehicles to their original condition following damage or auto body repair
Promote and attain all manufacturer standards for superior workmanship
Have an eye for detail and good color sense to match complex color formulations created by vehicle manufacturers
Painting damaged vehicles with appropriate paint color
Keep work area/tools clean and tidy
Practice conserving materials to minimize waste
Prepare vehicle for paint by removing dust, debris etc. from surface
Inspect completed work to ensure no deficiencies in paint
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
