**What we’ll love about you**:

- 3 plus years of experience in the Trades
- Experience with floor joist, metal deck or structural steel installation is a plus
- Hands-on experience within a fast-paced construction environment is an asset
- Minimum one year of experience with stick welding, rigging and signaling
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
- Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and deadlines
- Must be safety conscious and adhere to all safety processes and policies
- Familiar with tools of the trade and can read, follow and understand blue prints, drawings and work orders

**What you’ll work on**:
The Metal Deck Installer is primarily responsible to install a variety of metal decking and assist the foreman. As a Metal Deck Installer, you will be responsible for unloading deck on to steel, spreading steel deck on roofs of multi-story buildings, and crimping deck. You will be assisting the foreman with proper layout, as well as fabricating or altering parts using various equipment as required. You will check your work along the way to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards. You will safely use company equipment, while keeping your work area clean and productive.
