**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain Manitoba Smart Choices certificate
- Adhere to Manitoba Food Safe requirements to ensure efficient, safe and sanitary food and beverage production, sanitation, receiving, food storage and facility maintenance
- Accountable for the execution of all daily cleaning checklists, weekly cleaning checklists and the general tidiness and cleanliness of the Barista area throughout shift
- Welcome and engage with guests while they are waiting;
- Notifying guests of weekly features or events as instructed by the General Manager
- Replenish baked goods as needed to ensure a full stock at all times
- Greet guests and assist in answering questions while taking their order
- Ensure that every guest is provided with enough information, via suggestive selling techniques, that they may have the best possible Stella’s experience
- Maintain and enforce Stella’s “clean as you go” procedures
- Exhibit exacting personal uniform and personal hygiene standards
- Ensure that all items served are entered into the POS System and that all payment transactions are accounted for accurately
- Make all non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages according to Stella’s specifications
- Ensure an inventory of product at all times, as it pertains to your daily par list
- Oversee and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, bathrooms, and entryway
- Ensure that production expediency (ticket times) is maintained under all situations (caveat on Guest safety and Beverage Quality being maintained as first priorities)
- Ensure all takeout and cash handling procedures are being followed
- Answer the phone and ensure accuracy of all take-out orders
- Fulfill Host duties when required
- Duties as assigned
