**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure a safe drinking environment and intervene when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and health regulations in a restaurant setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.
