**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in preparing and baking a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes
- Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs and attention to detail
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Package baked items for retail display or customer orders efficiently and attractively
- Support kitchen operations by measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and cleaning workstations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food preparation setting is preferred
- Food Handling certificate is a must.
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is a plus
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food packaging and presentation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills related to baking and food preparation

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
