Within 5-minute walk, you will have access to the PoCo Trail for walking/biking. Plenty of new development and established neighbourhoods in the area. Affordable and convenient boasting everything you need within a 5km radius, making it a popular choice in the lower mainland for first time home buyers with a young family. Downtown Vancouver is only a short ride away via the West Coast Express or the sky train. Our PoCo location is a multi-disciplinary and multi-physician clinic with a very collegiate atmosphere and a physician focused MOA support team. The clinic also provides virtual and telehealth options which can be accessed at home.

**Position Summary**:
The ideal physician would be able to provide full-scope family practice either full-time or part-time. This position currently doesn’t have a walk-in component. The WELL Health team will work closely with you to ensure there is a smooth transition of the practice. You can expect flexible hours and would be masters of your own schedule. You will have the opportunity to work the way you want

**What you will be doing**:
Financials:
Overhead Agreement: Monthly (PCN) for Nurse Practitioners
- The financial agreement in the clinic is coordinated through with the Director of Recruitment.

Practice Details:

- Access up to 2 exam rooms during shifts and 1 office; clinic has 20 exam rooms
- Shared and dedicated office space
- Profile EMR

Hours:

- Flexible The clinic is open from Mon to Sat. The new physician will work out a schedule with the clinic.
- Virtual care / Telehealth hours can be added onto the in-clinic hours.
- No strict policy around time off

Hospital and ER Dept shifts:

- These are not part of the expectation of our community or clinic.

Special Services:

- Podiatrist, RN offering wound care, Blood Pressure monitoring /consults

On Call Arrangement:

- All physicians in the practice will take turns in rotation with a group of physicians in the clinic.

Staff:

- The clinic currently has 11 physicians working part-time and full-time, as well as office manager, 2 RN, and MOAs who can all help with the transition process.

Files:

- The Clinic is currently using Profile EMR. There are no paper charts associated with the practice.

**You have**:
IMGs eligible for provisional license to practice family medicine in BC are welcome to apply
- Hold or eligible for Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
- Hold or eligible for full license to practice medicine in BC
- Good standing with BC's College of Physicians and Surgeons
- Provisional license eligible applicants are welcome to apply
- Hospital privileges will be an asset
