**POSITION: Echocardiographer**

**UNIT: Diagnostic Imaging**

**STATUS: Casual Part Time**

**SALARY: $33.32 - $46.02**

The role of the Echocardiographer is to provide echocardiograms and related duties to clients with compromised cardio-respiratory status and related conditions.

**HOURS**:
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- Successful completion of a Canadian accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography/Echocardiography program
- Must have current registration and be a member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Preference will be given to those with relevant recent related experience within the past (2) years
- Current BCLS certification required
- Basic knowledge of ECG Interpretation
- Ability to operate/maintain equipment used for echocardiograms
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating a high level of initiative
- Basic computer skills with the ability to operate Microsoft Office, Power Chart, MUSE, etc.
- Strong interpersonal verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Evidence of ongoing continuing education
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Acceptable performance record that is aligned with STEGH values
