We’re currently looking for experienced **Grader Operators** to join our crew for **local and camp-based projects** throughout **Whitecourt**. **What You’ll Be Doing**
- Operate **graders safely and efficiently** for all phases of roadwork and finish grading.
- Use the grader blade to **windrow material**, adjust height and angle to **loosen and level surfaces**, and prepare subgrade or finish grade.
- Drive the grader in **successive passes** over work areas to achieve specified grades using **reference stakes or GPS**.
- Determine **cut and fill depths** using machine feedback and visual reference.
- Support **lease building, road construction, pad prep**, and reclamation scopes.
- Assist ground crew as needed and ensure work areas are accessible and safe.
- Perform **daily machine inspections**, noting any service needs.
- Follow all **Westcore safety policies**, field-level hazard assessments, and client site rules.

**What You’ll Need**
- **2+ years’ experience** on graders in civil construction, road building, or oilfield services.
- Confident in **finish grading, slope work**, and using GPS or grade stakes.
- Able to interpret **grade specifications and job plans** accurately.
- Experience operating in **variable ground conditions**, including winter works.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and pride in a clean, well-operated machine.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Valid **Class 5 Driver’s Licence** (clean abstract preferred).
- Safety tickets**:CSTS 2020 (or CSO), First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II**.
- Physically able to work **long shifts (up to 12 hrs)** outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to **lift 50 lbs**, climb equipment safely, and shovel as needed.
- Must provide your own **CSA-approved 6” lace-up work boots**.
- Must pass a **pre-employment drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work test**.
