Position Description
Sales Representatives are responsible for the sale of fencing supply & installation services to homeowners in the Edmonton Area. Accountable to the General Manager, Sales Representatives are expected to achieve yearly sales of 5 times their annual salary, at minimum.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Forge new relationships with residential and commercial clients
- Complete 100% of estimates on site with customers
- Achieve sales 5x annual salary
Sales Representatives are accountable to the General Manager for the following tasks, including but not limited to:
- Sale of fencing supply & installation services to homeowners across the Edmonton area
- Completing 10 - 20 consultations with clients per week
- Using a personal vehicle to drive to site visits
- Using a measuring tape to measure out yards accurately
- Negotiating with clients & neighbours on colours, sizes, and styles of fencing
- Collecting client deposits using a credit card processing tool
- Handing out marketing material to 10 houses at every site visit
- Responsible and accurate quotation of fencing services during onsite consultations with clients
- Clear and consistent communication to project management upon awarding of contract regarding specific tasks to be complete. Assembly of product order and project file upon successful award of each project.
- Consistently follow up with outstanding quotes sent to homeowners
- Use of a CRM system to track client interaction and creation of quotes
- Communication with inside sales team to improve client prequalification and appointment scheduling
