We are Btrust. Since 2008, we’ve innovated the Canadian grocery retail experience specializing to sell primarily fresh and healthy foods. Our goal is to introduce diverse food culture to every family table. We offer a wide range of products to cater to various taste preferences and budgets. The company is headquartered in Oakville, Ontario. In 2008, we opened our first Btrust Supermarket at the Golden Square, a shopping center in Mississauga, Ontario. Today, we manage a nationwide chain of 4 stores, covering an impressive 120,000 square feet and offering more than 20,000 different products, allowing families across Canada to enjoy fresh, healthy, and flavorful meals.
You are a friendly, customer-focused individual who understands the importance and intricacies of being ready to serve the customer. As such, you are responsible for promoting products of the Health and Beauty Section to customers, executing the Customer Service Strategy, and achieving sales targets.
**Major Responsibilities**:
- Execute the appropriate selling skills consistently to achieve results.
- Achieve assigned sales targets including both regular sales and promotion sales.
- Obtain a good understanding of the competitors, market trends, and excellent new product knowledge
- Build a client base through establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, follow-up on the satisfaction of purchases and notifying customers of upcoming events/promotions.
- Strictly follow the display guideline. Keep the product and display clean and suggest product orders to avoid being out of stock.
- Assist in the execution of special events, seasonal gift with purchase and holiday programs.
- Provide fast and accurate check-out service as well as courteous support in customer enquiries.
- Be attentive to product security and premium stock management.
- Able to handle customer complaints and establish good and timely communications with Marketing Team
- Attend regular sales meetings with full knowledge of the weekly sales updates.
- Generate regular business reports as required
- Assist the grocery department with a day-to-day product and merchandising display occasionally.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior(s).
**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements**
- Minimum 1-year experience in Retail beauty store/brands.
- Possess good knowledge of health and beauty products and have a great passion for the industry.
- Ability to translate cosmetics knowledge into optimal selling results with the aim of reaching the sales targets.
- Full flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekends/statutory holidays.
- Detail oriented; results-oriented; self-discipline.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, as well as proficiency in **Chinese language (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)**and good verbal communication skills in English.
- Always ready to deliver excellent customer service skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
