**About Us**:
The Fastfrate Group has been providing industry-leading transportation services for more than 50 years. From what started out as an LTL over the road and intermodal carrier, Fastfrate has grown into a diverse group comprised of 6 companies operating out of 30 terminals and final mile hubs across Canada and into the USA. This evolution allows us to offer customers a full suite of asset-based transportation including over-the-road, cross border and intermodal LTL and TL, drayage and transload, warehousing, distribution, final mile and logistics services.
**Responsibilities**:
The Fastfrate Group is looking for a Helpdesk/System support technician for our location in Woodbridge, Ontario. Reporting to the IT Systems Manager, the successful applicant will be a self-starter that manages help desk tickets, providing support over the phone, via remote computer sessions, and in person as needed. This is a full-time position on site and during regular business hours for most work. There will be rotating weekends where the technician may be on call for emergencies and there will be times where system upgrades and changes will require after hours or weekend work. They must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies within the company.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Desktop Support experience with MS Windows 7, 8.1, 10
- User support for MS Office 365
- Intermediate experience with Active Directory including GPO management
- General knowledge and experience with network connectivity - switches, routers, etc.
- Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptop, printers, network drives, etc.
- Experience using a central management ticket solution with inventory and asset management
- Previous experience with TMW Truckmate or other transportation systems an asset
- Proven ability to multitask and work with a variety of people and roles in the company
- Ability to work under high pressure while maintaining your composure
- Mobile Device Management knowledge is a plus (SOTI as an example)
- VOIP Knowledge is an asset
- PowerShell knowledge is an asset
- Self starter who can work alone and as part of a team
- Ability to lifting and move IT equipment as necessary - less than 50lbs
- Some infrequent travel may be required. Must have valid driver’s license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
