Detailed Overview:
**Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families**:
The Analyst is responsible for supporting the planning and analysis, as well as the decision support, related to physician services and funding. This includes programs funded by the Ministry's Alternative Payments Program, such as Clinical Service Contracts, Sessions and other Ministry programs, such as MOCAP, as well as physician services funded by Fraser Health (FH), such as administrative services and non-Ministry funded service contracts. Responsibilities include analyzing and evaluating the utilization of physician contract funding allocations, data relating to the performance of services, and supporting the provision of relevant information to other areas of FH to ensure transparency and clear decision making.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provides timely, relevant, reliable and clear information with appropriate supporting data analyses and review of alternatives to inform planning and decision-making by the Director, Senior Medical Directors, Executive Medical Director, Practice Improvement and Medical Staff Services, and VP Medicine.
- Provides data analysis for service contract and sessional program use, utilizing key data sources (operational, financial, fee for service revenue, clinical, organization and administrative) in response to Medical Affairs and senior executive level requests for information and analysis. Includes revenue analysis, data linkage, descriptive information, statistical analyses and statistical tests of significance.
- Completes reconciliations, analyses and projects as required as well as provides information required to properly account for the financial activities for the department.
- Provides input and identifies opportunities for physician contract revenue analysis. Provides recommendations and advice on important data development, process to improvements to maximize physician billing revenue and future projects/analyses.
- Works with representatives of other health authorities and other data custodians to support physician compensation analysis and reporting initiatives including submission of required reports to the Ministry of Health.
Qualifications**:Education and Experience**
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or a related field, plus a minimum of three (3) years' recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
