**The Organization**

For over 30 years, Accucam has been working with internationally recognized OEM brands to help them achieve high-quality components at a reduced cost. The company began as a single facility machine shop and has grown into to a full-service component part supplier. Accucam now proudly operates globally through the partnership of its two facilities, one in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and one in Qingdao, China. Accucam focuses on a wide range of sectors including but not limited to Construction, Material Handling, Agriculture, Commercial, Defense, Forestry, Rail/Transportation.

We are looking for skilled Human Resources Business Partner who will help us grow out our Cambridge location to oversee our employees needs to allow us to continue building our strong reputation as a global OEM supplier.

**Mandate**

Reporting to the CFO, the Human Resources Business Partner will enhance and lead the human resources function by planning, implementing and evaluating human resources policies, programs and practices that will help to fulfill Accucam’s strategic initiatives.

**Key Accountabilities**

The position will include the following responsibilities:

- Maintain and advise on company organization structure and industry best practices.
- Establish and maintain recruiting, testing, and interviewing programs for positions on the shop floor and warehouse.
- Create and lead a retention program that identifies and highlights the company’s culture, work atmosphere, and competitive differences to enhance motivation and engagement.
- Analyze compensation structure and practices to ensure appropriate levels of retention.
- Maintains the company structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results.
- Develop a training matrix for employees on the shop floor and warehouse.
- Liaise with the HR Manager in China to provide Canadian corporate, strategic and regulatory perspectives.
- Accountable for oversight and updating compliance verification with regards to any updated health and safety legislation and regulatory changes.

**Education**:

- A Human Resources diploma from a university or college, or equivalent work experience in HR focused roles.

**Experience**:

- 10 to 15 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager, ideally in a generalist role
- Experience and knowledge of HR best practices for small to medium sized enterprises

**Competencies and Attributes**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with one or more HRIS systems currently in use.
- Proficiency with MS Office based software
- Experience and knowledge of manufacturing or industrial sector would be ideal
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- CAMBRIDGE, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
