**Assembler/Tester Job Responsibilities**:

- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
- Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Check products at different stages of production for visual defects and failed tests or operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality.
- Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products.
- Maintain work area clean, safe, and orderly.

**Assembler Skills/Qualifications**:

- Safety management mindset
- Focus on quality control
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
- Attention to detail.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

**Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of assembly experience preferred
- Proficient with a variety of manual and power tools
- Inventory control and or supply chain experience is an asset.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
