**Job Overview**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Report to the Store Manager and Area/District Manager and complete all tasks as requested
- Create a positive work environment and culture within the store
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace while following food safety regulations
- Assume the position of Manager on Duty (MOD) when Store Manager is not present
- Perform and/or coordinate maintenance on fixtures and equipment
- Manage staff issues and complaints and escalate to Store Manager where appropriate
- Manage customer service issues and complaints and escalate to Store Manager where appropriate
- Responsible for safeguarding store keys and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Bakers and Keyholders to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service
- Coach and train Bakers and Keyholders to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality
- Monitor inventory levels and alert Store Manager when stock levels are low, and place orders upon Store Manager’s request
- Receive and store deliveries of ingredients and supplies
- Prepare cookie dough and bake cookies in ovens following Craig’s Cookies recipes with care and attention
- Coordinate and implement baking schedules to ensure availability and selection of products at all times
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanour and provide assistance with product selection and recommendations
- Pick and package customer orders and complete customer transactions using the supplied Point of Sale system
- Prepare and package all other orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness (pick up, delivery, shipping, special events)
- Wash dishes, bowls, baking pans and other equipment using posted methods
- Complete opening and closing checklists and tasks, including but not limited to wiping and disinfecting all surfaces, sweeping, mopping, taking out garbage and recycling
- Open and close registers while ensuring all tenders are balanced and make bank deposits
- Answer phones
- All other tasks as required by the business

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Valid Food Handlers Certificate
- High School Diploma
- Previous leadership experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and directions with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment
- Open availability and able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, use appliances, and lift heavy items

Pay: $40,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
