**About the Opportunity**:
The Health Support Aide has an important role within the Community Transitions Unit team and is responsible for helping with daily routines of care and to support patients/clients with activities of daily living. The role may include: the provision of basic care (comforts), specimen collection and other support functions under the guidance and direction of licensed health care professionals.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12
- Any previous related experience or related education would be an asset
- Knowledge of infection control procedures an asset
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Current BCLS
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with patients/clients, hospital staff, public and referral sources
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

$17.87 - $18.62 Hourly
