First Aid Certificate

ECE or ECEA License

Criminal Records Check

Food safe certificate

Excellent oral and written skills

Excellent Team Player

**Required Experience**

Prefer 1 Year

**Key Responsibilities**

Assist in developing and implementing an emergent, culturally sensitive curriculum that provides daily activities that support and promote the development of children;
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, toilet habits

Organize children for daily activities, including outdoor activities and field trips.

Discuss progress or problems of children with parents and other staff members;
Attend meetings and workshops to develop and discuss new teaching methods;
Must be knowledgeable of care plans and working with Supported Child Development.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (required)
- Early childhood education: 1 year (required)
- Daycare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
