**AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY**:
Reporting to the Youth Hub Coordinator,the primary function of the Youth Hub Program Director is to oversee the strategic direction, operations, and overall management of the youth hub. This role involves leading a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality program delivery, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all youth participants. The Youth Hub Program Director plays a critical role in community engagement, partnership development, and sustainability of the hub's initiatives. Provides direction to Youth Hub Instructor and Youth Hub Specialist.
- Working alongside the Youth Hub and Coordinator and Youth Hub Supervisor to develop and implement the strategic vision and goals for the youth hub, ensuring alignment with the City’s strategic goals and specific community youth needs.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of specialized youth programs and services, ensuring they are innovative, engaging, and meet the developmental needs of participants.
- Manage and support a team of staff, including instructors and specialists, providing guidance, professional development, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure the financial sustainability of the hub by developing budgets, and managing resources effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, and stakeholders to support the hub's initiatives and expand its reach.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety, mental well-being, and holistic development of all participants and staff.
- Lead targeted marketing and outreach efforts to promote the youth hub and increase community engagement and participation.
- Monitor and report on program outcomes, community impact, and operational efficiency to stakeholders, with a focus on youth development metrics.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in youth development, mental health, career readiness, and incorporate innovative approaches to enhance the hub's offerings.
- Organize and lead community events, outreach activities, and special projects that promote youth leadership and community involvement.
- Understand, apply, enforce and adhere to Corporate Policies and Procedures, Emergency Procedures, and Health and Safety Standards for all participants and staff
- Action and report all concerns, accidents and incidents to immediate supervisor for follow up
- Travel between locations as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**:

- Minimum 18 years of age.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within youth development, mental health services, community services, or a related field.
- Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple specialized projects and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire staff, participants, and community stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation, specifically tailored to youth.
- Financial management skills, including budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all youth participants.
- A strong network of community connections and an understanding of local resources and youth needs.
- Flexibility to work part-time up to 24 hours/week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C from an accredited organization, or ability to obtain within 1 month of the date of hire.
- High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development or Sport Certification, considered an asset.
- Current Mental Health First Aid Certification, or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- **Preference will be given to students that have a permanent residency in Brampton._
