Hospital Cleaner

**The Environmental Services Partner (ESP) will dry and wet mop floors and stairs, collect garbage, clean washrooms and replenish supplies, vacuum and spot clean carpets. The ESP will also carry out terminal cleaning procedures as prescribed by established procedures in preparation for new admissions. The ESP will clean isolation rooms according to specific Infection Prevention Control protocols, as well as other duties as assigned.**:
- **Monday - Saturday: 4:30pm
- 12:00am (42hrs/week)**:
- **$15.75/hour + weekend shift premium **(+ $0.50/hour) **on Saturdays**:
- Cleaning an out-patient care unit in a hospital: washrooms, waiting areas, patient beds and chairs, treatment areas, office areas, collecting garbage/recycling/biohazard waste
- Taking count of supplies and restocking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, intense environment
- Must be comfortable transporting bio-hazardous products (i.e. Blood) and patients
- Ability to read, write and speak English competently
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be willing and prepared to operate all housekeeping related equipment
- Must be prepared and able to use all personal protective equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to perform the essential physical duties of the job
- Applicant must be capable of repetitive movements, bending, reaching, standing for long periods
- Housekeeping experience in a related environment preferred
- Able work effectively and cooperatively with staff and patients.
- Good initiative and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent attendance a must
- Training will be provided on-site

**Salary**: From $15.75 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
