**Audio-Visual and Support Technician**
- Oversight and general maintenance of meeting and classroom audio and video equipment to ensure all are in functional order for daily operations, including but not limited to conference room touch displays, projectors, monitors, speakers, webcams, lavalier microphones, and all associated cabling.
- Working as a member of the IT Client Experience support team to provide first-level technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for hardware and software in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Assist users of the audio-visual facilities with setup and usage issues they may be experiencing, including the proactive upkeep of how-to documentation in each room
- Co-ordination with the Marketing team to ensure the equipment and content of the various display screens and digital signage are operational throughout the facilities.
- Working closely with the Corporate Events and Learning teams in the production of live streaming, virtual classrooms, teleconferences, and live events
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems and technical emergencies with production equipment during presentations which may include after hours.
- Utilize proper safety practices and procedures in the set up and usage of AV equipment, and ensure an understanding safety
- Maintain an inventory of equipment and manuals in conjunction with Price AV equipment
- Track and recommend when significant maintenance or replacement should be considered for all AV equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of post-secondary education or other certified training
- 2 or more years’ experience in a related field
- Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Experience with digital workplace messaging, communication, and Live streaming technologies with proven strength particularly with Microsoft Teams and WebEx
- Familiarity with testing audio and video equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with sound mixers and P.A systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
- Self-starter and self-motivator, the ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, changing environment
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility
- Ability to legally travel within North America
- Possess the drive to learn and is adaptable to change/new technologies

The following skills will be considered an asset:

- Experience with Windows (10/11), Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Azure, network fundamentals and telephony
- Experience using various digital signage solutions
- Familiarity with ITSM ticketing platforms to log all support calls and requests.
- Experience with Crestron and/or Extron control systems
