We are seeking a skilled Full Cycle Accountant to join our team for a 12-month maternity leave coverage. As a Full Cycle Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the entire accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close procedures
- Perform a weekly review of accounts receivable and follow up with customers where applicable
- Prepare semi-monthly payroll as well as other basic HR responsibilities including oversight of benefits and new employee orientations
- Prepare and file required tax documents, including GST, payroll tax, and income tax instalments
- Analyze and reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Provide support to the Controller and other members of the accounting team as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required
- Prior experience in accounting or a related field preferred
- Experience using AIMS and/or Sage 50 an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,500.00-$4,500.00 per month
