**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut metal parts according to technical specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work job cards to determine part dimensions, tolerances, and setups.
- Select appropriate tooling, wire, and settings for each job, ensuring the best quality results.
- Monitor the machine during operation to ensure proper cutting, alignment, and functioning.
- Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications using precisions measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Maintain accurate reports of machine setups, run times, and part counts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Wire EDM machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to adjust processes and techniques as needed.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Ensure parts meet customer specifications and production deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience working with CNC or EDM machines.
- Post-graduate experience in manufacturing technician or related program.
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining principles, processes and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CNC programming (preferred).
