**What will you do?**

Excel & Y, Lundgren & Young is looking for a Personal Lines House Account Broker who is a bright, talented, customer service minded professional who has a passion for the insurance industry and wants to work in an energetic, positive environment while providing exceptional service to customers first and foremost. This role is expected to represent Excel & Y Insurance by promoting and maintaining strong employee morale and the culture, setting high expectations for performance and adhere to company values.

**Responsibilities**
- Adhere to and practice Lundgren & Young corporate policies and procedures.
- Uphold and exemplify Lundgren & Young values.
- Follow Best Practices to achieve operational excellence.
- Build close working relationships with peers.
- Be a trusted advisor, offer advice on all areas of personal lines insurance including home, auto, umbrella, recreational vehicles, travel, etc.
- Ensure retention goals are met by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client communications.
- Collaborate with Sales Manager to develop and execute branch and individual goals.
- Participate in continuing education programs, in-house training and courses on both insurance and sales.

**Required Qualifications**
- Level 1 or 2 General Insurance Broker License (AIC).
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
- Experience with Office 365.
- Exceptional customer services skills.
- Strong written and verbal communications, with high attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work independently yet thrive as a part of a team environment.
- Proven negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Experience in Power Broker.
- Applied Rating Systems.
- Level 2 General Insurance License.
- Working towards CAIB or CIP Designations.

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday
