**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
The CYC, as a member of the Child Adolescent Unit inpatient multidisciplinary team, promotes a safe and therapeutic environment where patients are treated according to their individual needs. The CYC works with the patient, family and multidisciplinary team to promote patient mental and physical wellness. S/he, as a member of the health care team, and has a significant role in promoting health, preventing illness, and helping clients attain and maintain the highest level of health possible.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:
Child and Youth Worker Diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated expertise in mental health service to children/adolescents and their families.

Three years relevant work experience.

Hospital or residential treatment setting experience including shift work.

**WHO YOU ARE**:
Proven excellent interpersonal relationships.

Proven excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and written).

Demonstrated evidence of commitment to continuing education.

Demonstrated knowledge of CYC scope of practice.

Proven ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Current BCLS.

Valid CPI course or commitment to receive same within 3 months of hire.
