- **Education and Training**:

- Minimum of a Personal Support Worker Certificate from an accredited college or equivalent.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate is required.
- Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required-
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of six (6) months of experience working as a Personal Support Worker in a hospital setting-
- **Knowledge/Skills/Ability**:

- Demonstrated interpersonal / communication skills
- Current certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) andGentlePersuasionApproachestoDementiaCare(GPA) are assets-
