**Pearson pub is hiring a bartender to work in our Whitby, ON location.**

**We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

**Experience**
- Computer literacy, knowledge of Whitby, ON food regulations is a plus. Experience as a bartender with alcohol is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Whitby, ON L1N 2R4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
