**Job Title: General Laborer**:
**Who we are**:
CAST is the developer of hardware & software for the entertainment sector globally, primarily in the areas of film, television, theater, and for the special event and meeting industries marketed under the Vivien, WYSIWYG and BlackTrax names. CAST has also developed a proprietary hardware/software technology that delivers a 3D/6D positioning and bidirectional high-speed communications solution that revolutionizes the way automated lighting and robotic devices can be controlled, synced, and choreographed, using real time streaming positional data. Operating and selling globally, with over 90% of our revenues coming from outside of Canada, our products are used in over 100 countries interconnecting technologies to deliver greater effects, more reliability and cost and time savings for TV, film & stage productions, road shows, major events, and venues.

**About the role**:
**Responsibilities for general laborer**:

- Must be able to manage heavy repetitive lifting up, pushing, sliding up to 50-75 lbs
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work on a 5-day schedule Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Be open to flexible hours depending on workload.
- Able to work independently and as a collaborative team

**Qualifications for General Laborer**:

- Strong problem-solving ability
- Stamina to lift and carry heavy items (80 lbs. or more) all day long while climbing stairs, balancing, walking, etc.
- Ability to read instructions clearly and follow them.

**Requirements**:

- GED/High School Degree
- General labor experience

**Location**:
CAST is located at 35 Ripley Avenue, Suite 1 on the southwest side of Toronto, Ontario.

**Contract Length**:

- 8 weeks. (August 6th - October 1st)

**Salary**:

- $20 per hour
