**Job Summary and Role Overview**: Keller Canada currently has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant to join our team based in Acton, Ontario on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner Canada, this position provides full cycle HR support services including business administration services. The
preferred HR Assistant responds accurately and promptly to all employees to help support the functional Business Units within Canada in the areas of recruitment, compensation and benefits, payroll administration, report preparation, and leave administration, with focus on HRIS and soon to be Ceridian Dayforce. The HR Assistant will process handle employee changes helps facilitate onboarding offboarding processes within HRIS and delegates inquiries to the centers of expertise within the Global HR Services department. SharePoint experience preferred.
**More About You**: You are a bilingual French speaking professional with a recognized Human Resources certificate or Diploma. Preferred minimum two - (2) years’ experience in a human resources position working within a national construction unionized environment, or a civil engineering firm. Preferred, you are a current CPHR designated professional or working towards your HR designation. An equivalent combination of training, education and experience may be considered. As a self-starter, you are accountable, organized, and detailed oriented. The HR Assistant will help support the Human Resources Business Partner Canada on all HR initiatives and programs. This includes identifying opportunities and possibilities to help drive maximum levels of services throughout the HR People Culture Program. You must be willing and able to travel within Canada. Ultimately you strive strategically to enrichen people’s work lives with integrity, exceed your own personal and professional work expectations, communicate well with others and are a collaborative team player. If you like card games, playing Cribb, or other board games, you will enjoy the fun healthy competitive bantering atmosphere during play time.

**Responsibilities**:
- With good business acumen, processes maintain and organizes all actions and functions in the HRIS which includes new hires, terminations, employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and types of leaves
- Processes information within HRIS, delegates inquiries with the COE’s within the global HR department
- With credibility maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of personnel files and HRIS data
- Provides support to the BU’s, HRBP and Recruiter on recruitment initiatives including on-boarding offboarding practices
