Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at a fast paced franchise restaurant in the HRM. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and opportunities for growth.

**Duties**:

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
- Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system for sales transactions
- Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Collaborate with the Managers and team to develop and execute plans for achieving sales targets

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a busy, service-oriented environment is required
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and providing excellent customer service
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to recruit, train, and motivate employees
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems
- Exceptional communication skills
