**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak service times.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools is an asset.
- A passion for cooking and the food industry, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
