A leading company in cold-forming technology and a major producer of cold-formed parts is seeking a **Logistics Supervisor**. This organization supplies industrial products and engineering expertise to car manufacturers, OEMs, and affiliated industries worldwide, offering innovative and effective manufacturing solutions.

**About the Position**

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the shipping of product domestically and internationally, as well as receiving warehouse materials.
**A minimum of 5 years supervising a team in a unionized facility is required for this role.**

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Supervise a team of warehouse employees.
- Negotiate and initiate ocean shipments.
- Assist with daily shipping activities.
- Responsible for new and continual training of employees.
- Responsible for USMCA and international document creation.
- Handle small courier shipments.
- Attend meetings relating to shipping concerns.
- Act as the initial contact for resolution of day-to-day issues.
- Continuously improve shipping and receiving operations.
- In coordination with the Materials department, maintain accurate inventory and conduct audits.
- Supervise cycle count duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum **5 years** prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or shipping and in a **unionized environment.**:

- Working knowledge of OHSA and WHMIS.
- Proven inventory control knowledge.
- Understanding of auditing functions.
- Ability to work effectively in on-demand situations.
- Ability to recognize the need for change and implement it in a timely manner.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential.
- Team player with excellent leadership skills, able to motivate others, negotiate effectively, and interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- College or University education preferred.
- Must have supervised employees driving Material Handling Equipment Forklift (Reach and Counterbalance).

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
