**JOB TITLE**:Site General Manager.

**STATUS**: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Eligible for Benefits.

**POSITION NO**: MVSH 02 - SITE GM.

**SALARY RATE**: As per the MVSH salary schedule.

**MAIN DUTIES**:

- Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Site General Manager (SGM) is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operation of the Site including management of all site operations supervisors, and staff.
- The SGM works with the Site operations team (Dietary, Housekeeping, Activities, and administrative support), and external partners to provide high quality services, to assist with the needs of residents and to address concerns of families.
- Participates in community initiatives.
- Ensures a safe working and living environment and responds to emergency issues.
- Manages and maintains administrative records of all site operations including payroll approval, and prepares reports, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Post-secondary education in a business, social sciences and/or management.

2. Completed Site Manager Certificate Program or in progress.

3. Knowledge of human resources management including supervisory experience preferably in a unionized environment.

4. Professional written communication skills with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

5. Understanding of the need for professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.

6. Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

7. Advanced knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and Internet Explorer.

8. Trustworthy with a positive, willing, and flexible attitude.

9. Must have a clear and current criminal record check.

10. All MVSH employees are required to be fully immunized against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
