**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Instruct students on how to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Teach a wide range of welding techniques, including GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, MCAW, SMAW, and Brazing, on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components.
- Guide students in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
- Supervise and assist students in inspecting and testing welded surfaces and structures to identify and correct any defects.
- Emphasize the importance of maintaining welding equipment in safe and operational condition, both in practice and instruction.
- Develop and deliver a curriculum that aligns with industry standards and prepares students for real-world welding challenges.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical tests, and detailed feedback sessions.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a welder with expertise in GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, MCAW, and SMAW welding techniques.
- Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to students.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and blueprints.
- Deep understanding of welding safety standards and the ability to enforce them in a classroom setting.
- Valid certifications in multiple welding processes are an asset.
- Previous instructional experience is a plus, but not required.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of welders.
